Beginning in summer 2027, Old Faithful and Friends plans to operate a public Yellowstone shuttle connecting Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) with Old Faithful.
The planned route will travel:
Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) → West Yellowstone Airport (WYS) → West Yellowstone Visitor Center → Old Faithful Visitor Center
The shuttle will also operate in the opposite direction for travelers returning from Yellowstone toward Bozeman.
This new route is designed for travelers who want to visit Old Faithful without renting a car or driving themselves through Yellowstone.
And we're especially excited about this route because there are limited transportation options for visitors trying to travel between Bozeman and Yellowstone.
Flying Into Bozeman and Going to Yellowstone?
For many Yellowstone visitors, Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is the closest major airport and a popular starting point for a Yellowstone vacation.
But getting from the airport to Old Faithful isn't as simple as getting from an airport to a typical tourist destination. Yellowstone is a national park with long distances between entrances and attractions, seasonal roads, construction, wildlife-related delays, and heavy summer traffic.
Our new Bozeman to Old Faithful public shuttle gives visitors another option.
